We’re launching the Beta Mini, the first release in our Modern Series lineup. This isn’t just a scaled-down version of a classic. It’s the legendary Beta Lead and Beta Bass circuits engineered into a single ultra-portable powerhouse that delivers 200 watts of pure MOSFET tone at just 3.9 pounds.

The original Beta amps revolutionized solid-state amplification in the ’70s with their distinctive MOSFET design, earning their place in rock history under the fingers of Kurt Cobain, the Melvins, Red Fang, and Tool. Now that same sonic character is available in a format designed for the realities of modern gigging. Whether you’re riding the subway to a club or flying to a festival.

Two Channels, Unlimited Possibilities

The Beta Mini features two completely independent channels, each with its own full set of controls: Drive, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Level. Run them both clean, both dirty, or anywhere in between. Blend them together for hybrid tones or keep them separated for distinct sounds at your fingertips.

Front-panel channel selection with LED indicators and optional TRS footswitch control means seamless switching on stage or in the studio. The global Master Volume gives you complete command over your output level while maintaining the character dialed in on each channel.

At 200 watts into 4 ohms, the Beta Mini delivers serious headroom through dual combo speaker outputs (¼" plus Speakon) that handle 4–8 ohm loads.

Beta Lead Meets Beta Bass: Four Amps in One

Independent Lead/Bass voicing switches per channel fundamentally alter the behavior of the tone stack. This is not just an EQ preset.

Lead mode delivers classic Beta response from shimmering cleans to signature fuzzy drive. Bass mode optimizes for extended low end, mid punch, and modern articulation.

Use both channels in Lead, both in Bass, or mix for a hybrid guitar/bass rig. All from one 4-pound head.

Backpack Ready Tone

At 10" × 9" × 3" and 3.9 lbs, the Beta Mini fits in a backpack, carry-on, or gig bag. Built with a rugged aluminum chassis, it’s designed for real-world musicianship. Not nostalgia shelf pieces.
